The Pump Test Bench and Laboratory facilities support the functional and performance validation of space pump assemblies. A dedicated Pump Hydraulic Test Bench is currently operational for Engineering Models testing of HFE pumps, enabling controlled performance evaluation and system verification. In parallel, a dedicated Ammonia Pump Test Bench is under development and is expected to become operational by the end of September this year. The laboratory infrastructure is designed to support future qualification activities, experimental campaigns
PUMP HYDRAULIC TEST BENCH
The Pump Hydraulic Test Bench (PHTB) is designed for the functional and performance testing of HFE Pumps under controlled operating conditions. The facility supports Engineering Model validation and can be integrated with the Small Thermal Vacuum Chamber to enable combined thermal vacuum and hydraulic performance testing for small and medium-sized space equipment and components.
