NEW MATERIALS AND TECHNOLOGIES FOR SURFACE COVERING OF TURNING ROTORS

  • The purpose of the project is to produce "TURMO IV C turbine rotors of NCK 18TDA material covered with Ti / TiN / TiAlN / Al2O3" multilayer structure . By applying, according to a new multilayer construction, the turbine blades equipped with the TURMO IV C engine gas generator, rotors with special properties are obtained. Increasing the rotor lifetime after coating with protective layers at oxidation will result in:
  • rotor price drop / operating time;
  • decrease in maintenance costs of rotor installations;
  • reducing the loss caused by the interruption of the TURMO IVC industrial engine for maintenance operations. Project Location : Zicleni Station - the gas generator of the TURMO IVC engine Fields of use:
  • The extraction and distribution of methane gas using turbo engines whose vital parts are manufactured or maintained by INCDT COMOTI
  • Oil extraction and distribution of turbocompressors produced or maintained by INCDT COMOTI Scope of application

  • Obtaining a special material (Ti / TiN / TiAlN / Al2O3 multilayer) designed to cover NCK18TDA superalloy turbine blades in order to increase the min. 30% (under the operating conditions of the TURMO IV C - industrial gas generator)
  • Making a New Technology , Modern Coil Turbine Blades in Superalloy NCK18TDA
