Laws describing the behavior of a vehicle designed to explore Mars under terrestrial conditions have been deduced. From the performance achieved on Earth, the performance under the real conditions on Mars is deduced by similarity laws. The deducted similarity criteria allow testing of exploration devices in terrestrial conditions, resulting in a significant reduction in the cost of experiments. It is more convenient to test the original vehicle under terrestrial conditions, and on the basis of similarity criteria, to derive performance from the Martian environment than to build expensive equipment to simulate this environment.
