Physical and Chemical Testing Laboratory from COMOTI - Romanian Research & Development Institute for Gas Turbines is equipped with the latest equipment for atmospheric pollutants (air quality) monitoring:

The laboratory personnel is very experienced and offers the following services:

• Testing NO and NO2 concentration from the ambient air, by chemiluminiscence method (Method certified by RENAR)
• Testing CO concentration from the ambient air, by nondispersive infrared spectroscopy method (Method certified by RENAR)
• Testing O3 concentration from the ambient air, by UV photometry method (Method certified by RENAR)
• Testing SO2 concentration from the ambient air, by UV fluorescence method (Method certified by RENAR).
• Testing THC (total hydrocarbons) concentration from the ambient air, by FID principle based method.
• Testing PM10 from the ambient air, by measurements based on gravimetric principle.
